It doesn’t always have to be Copenhagen or Roskilde if you want to enjoy great music. The Danish festival, Northside, is based in Denmark’s second largest city, Aarhus, and was held from 17 to 19 June this year. The tickets were sold out, the beer was flowing and the music was provided by Danish and international bands – an amazing line-up, if you ask me! The first festival was held in 2010 and it has grown from a small one-day festival to a big event with three stages and over 30.000 guests. Beside its goal of creating profit for its owners, the festival has a mission statement focused on innovation, sustainability, and user involvement.
You can see my outfit from day 1 at NorthSide above, I was wearing vintage cut-off Levis Jeans, H&M hat & boots and a Y.A.S blouse.
